Overall Impression of the Product:

I bought these replacement slat holders for my bed, as I was having problems with the slats keep snapping, meaning that the bed slats were moving when someone was sleeping in the bed.

At first, I was dubious of the quality, as they didn’t feel particularly sturdy, but 2 years later, and they are still going strong. A great buy.

Fitting them to the bed was a bit tricky, as the nodules didn’t fit perfectly into the holes, they were pretty tight. Once I’d managed to get them clipped in though, they were strong, if not stronger than the original slat holders.

Features

These bed end and centre caps for the slats come in 3 different sizes, which you need to measure via the inner width of the slat. You can choose between end caps and middle caps:

62mm x 9 mm (inside dimension) – Suitable to fit sprung wooden slats between 60mm – 62mm wide. Length between the 2 prongs/pins: 37mm

55mm x 9 mm (inside dimension) – Suitable to fit sprung wooden slats between 54mm – 55mm wide. Length between the 2 prongs/pins: 38mm

53mm x height 9 mm (inside dimension) – Suitable to fit sprung wooden slats between 52mm – 53mm wide. Length between the 2 prongs/pins: 36mm

Conclusion

These came pretty quickly from China to the UK (within a week). I’m very happy that they’ve lasted as long as they have. As I said earlier, they are quite tricky to fit, but once they are on, they seem to be fine.
