Overall Impression of the Product:
These powerful COB LED headlamps are perfect for cycling, camping, photographers, dog walkers or fishing.
They feature between one and three “band” style lights, as well as a sidelight torch depending on the model.
I must admit, I was surprised at how powerful these headlamps really are in the dark. They are really bright and go quite a long distance. They are really good for lighting up the surrounding area, as they are wraparound band-style.
Features
Motion sensor on and off – these headlights have a motion sensor built into the side, which means you can turn the light on and off with just a wave of your hand. This is really useful for people like electricians, plumbers or tradespeople who only need the light on occasionally. It works if you wave your hand up to around 15cm away. This can be a little bit annoying if you are working in a confined space, as movement with walls close by will turn the lamp on or off.
USB charging – the USB charging element of these is really handy. They use a USB-C cable to charge, which is included in the box. It says that they have a 1200MaH battery and can charge up in about 3 hours. I found them to charge more quickly than this with a normal phone charger, they took around 2 hours from fully flat to fully charged.
Lighting modes – there are 4 different lighting modes:
- white light only
- white + yellow light
- red light (not available on all models)
- side torch
Just press the power button to cycle through the different modes. There’s a strobe mode on some models as well, which you can change by long-pressing the power button and then both lights will flash at the same time.

180° Beam Angle – The 180° beam angle provides a wide field of view, which makes these torches perfect for walkers, cyclists or people who need to see all around them in the dark.
Lightweight – These torches only weigh about 140g and I was surprised that they are actually quite comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They aren’t really too tight either, and you can adjust the strap to suit your head size. The rubber is apparently ABS, and it seems pretty high-strength.
Light colours – There are either one, two or three light colours, depending on the model – white, yellow and red:

Model Variants
Variant 1 – Single COB Led Light
This variant has just a single LED light, and is perfect for a basic version of the headlamp for situations where you don’t need as much light, or if you don’t need different lighting colours.
There’s still the side torch so these are a very affordable option from only £2.73 each.

Variant 2 – Dual COB Led Light
This variant has two LED lights – yellow and white, and is perfect for a basic version of the headlamp for situations when you need to switch between the really bright white light and the warmer yellow light.
Again, these come with a side torch and start from only £2.92 each.
Variant 3 – Triple COB Led Light
This variant has all three LED lights – white, yellow and red, as well as the side torch. This version is the ultimate torch, as you can switch between lighting modes at the press of a button.
These are available at a very reasonable £3.13 each.

Conclusion
I’d recommend this headlamp to anyone who is looking to buy one. I’ve got a few that I’ve given out to friends and family, and they all commented on how good these are. I’ve seen some websites sell these for £20 each, when in reality, they are buying them from China, so cut out the middleman and go direct!
